Trees as Teachers of Alchemy

'Arboreal Alchemy,' a term whispered to me from the Trees, is a fascinating field that unifies ancient practices of alchemy with the natural world, particularly focusing on the transformative properties of Trees and plants. This practice is rooted in the belief that Trees display unique energies and qualities that can teach us in various ways, such as Healing, Spiritual Growth, and the Enhancement of one’s Inner and Outer Environment.

The alchemical process involves understanding the Life cycles of living beings such as plants, animals, and humans, their interactions with the Elements, and how these factors contribute to one's transformative abilities. In this blog, we call upon the wisdom of the Trees for guidance on ways to Transmute the Elements Within and Without in Harmony with Nature's Ways.

Trees have long been revered in various cultures for their Inspiring Wisdom and Strength. They are seen as Living Entities that connect the Earth to the Heavens, symbolizing Growth, Renewal, and the cyclical Nature of Life. In Arboreal Alchemy, we have the opportunity to study the different types of Trees, such as Oaks, Willows, Sycamores, Maples, and Pines, to name a few, each one carrying its own unique properties and energies. For instance, the Oak Tree is often associated with Strength and Endurance, while the Willow is linked to Intuition and Emotional Healing. By understanding these associations, we can utilize the specific energies of Trees to create potent medicines, elixirs, and tinctures, as well learn from Trees how to implement the various methods of Transmutation, such as Healing, Spiritual Growth, and fostering Harmony of one’s Inner and Outer Environment.

The Sacred Science of Crystal Creation

Crystal creation is another integral component of Arboreal Alchemy, where the focus shifts to the formation of Crystals through natural processes. This Sacred Science delves into the geological and metaphysical aspects of Crystals, exploring how they are formed over time through the combination of minerals, Light, heat, and pressure, fine tuning harmonic Frequencies of Creation. Each Crystal type, from Quartz to Tourmaline, is imbued with distinct Vibrational Frequencies that can interface with human consciousness and emotional states. The process of Crystal creation is not merely a physical phenomenon; it is also seen as a spiritual journey that reflects the interconnectedness of all living beings and the Earth itself. It reflects the shifting of material or consciousness from lower frequency vibration to higher frequency vibration, the transformation of simple minerals into Complex Crystalline Structures, or the Transmutation of Alchemical 'Lead into Gold.'

The Formation of Crystals & Gold in Nature

Trees, the towering giants of the natural world, play an unexpected role in the formation of various minerals, including Crystals and even Gold, a microcrystalline compound. Essentially, Gold, Silver, and Copper, Earth's Natural Metals are also considered Crystals, as they are made up of microscopic monoatomic elemental particles arranged in crystalline structures. The fascinating process of Crystals and Natural Metals forming in Nature is a result of complex biochemical interactions and geological phenomena that occur over extended periods. Understanding how Trees and their roots can contribute to the creation of these remarkable minerals requires delving into both the biological and geological aspects of Nature.

The Role of Trees in Mineral Accumulation

Through their extensive root systems, Trees interact with the soil and the minerals contained within it. As Trees grow, their roots absorb water and essential nutrients from the soil, which includes various minerals. This process is not merely for sustenance; it also leads to the accumulation of certain elements that can crystallize under specific conditions. For instance, when Trees take up minerals such as Silica, Calcium, and Iron, these elements can later form Crystals as the tree continues to grow and as environmental conditions change.

Crystallization Process in Trees

The crystallization process begins when Trees absorb mineral-laden water from the soil. As the water travels through the tree's vascular system, it carries dissolved minerals. When the Tree undergoes physiological processes, such as transpiration, water evaporates from the leaves, leading to an increase in concentration of these minerals within the tree. Over time, as the concentration becomes sufficiently high, the minerals can precipitate out of the solution and form Crystals. These Crystals can manifest in various forms, such as Quartz, Opal, or Calcite, and may be found within the wood, bark, or even in the leaves of the tree.

Planting Trees has often been seen as a way to combat changes in atmosphere or climate, but recent research suggests that this method of carbon sequestration isn’t enough to offset what we’re doing to the planet. However, planting certain trees is getting a second look, as scientists have discovered evidence of food-producing trees capable of turning CO2 into limestone - a Silicate Crystal aka Quartz...

The trees under study—three species of figs found in Kenya—could be well-suited for agro-forestry, as they’d provide both fruit and long-lasting carbon sequestration. [5]

Like most other trees, these fig trees use carbon resources to build their leaves and other woody bits. But they also display a natural sequestration technique known as an “oxalate carbonate pathway.” These are the first fruit trees ever discovered capable of taking carbon and turning it into stone—specifically, Calcium Carbonate (a.k.a. Limestone (6), Calcite, or Quartz)—which is then threaded throughout its trunk. This makes these fig trees particularly adept at storing carbon, because even after these trees die, some of that carbon remains in these calcium carbonate deposits.

So, how and why do these trees Alchemize the Elements to to make Crystals? According to researchers from the University of Zurich, the trees first convert CO₂ into Calcium Oxalate Crystals, and then specialized microbes such as bacteria [7] and fungi transform it into Calcium Carbonate (Limestone aka Quartz). According to the researchers, this increases the pH of the surrounding soil, which makes different types of nutrients available.

To confirm how this limestone formed within the tree, the researchers utilized the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource [8]—a division of the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory—to investigate the nano-architecture of the trees and discern which microbial communities contributed to this carbon-sequestering superpower.

And these fig trees are likely not the only ones.

Tree Roots and the Formation of Gold

Interestingly, the phenomenon of Gold formation is also linked to the activities of tree roots. Research has shown that certain trees can absorb gold particles from the soil through their roots. This process occurs when the tree's roots come into contact with gold-bearing minerals. The tree's biochemical processes can cause these Gold particles to accumulate within the tree's biomass. As the tree matures, the concentration of Gold within its tissues can increase significantly. In some cases, when the tree dies and decomposes, the Gold can be released back into the soil, contributing to the geochemical cycling of this precious metal. Gold is also formed through the process of crystallization and gradual shift in the Frequency of Water and minerals within Living and Ancient Tree Roots.

Environmental Factors Influencing Crystal Formation

Trees are The Foundation of The Crystalline Grid on Earth and the Foundation for All Life on Earth.
